Standard 12 covers an odor-free, residue-free dishwasher. The goal is reliable performance through preventive maintenance aligned with the manufacturer guidance.
Monthly protocol
- Filter: remove, wash, reinstall correctly.
- Seals: wipe and dry (biofilm often builds here).
- Spray arms: check for clogs and clean if needed.
- Empty cycle: run the hottest program using a dishwasher cleaner or a product compatible with the model.
Mineral build-up
- In hard-water conditions, use a descaler only if allowed by the manufacturer.
- Use salt and rinse aid per settings and manual.
What we avoid
- No unapproved acids/DIY mixes without compatibility confirmation.
- No leaving the filter dirty (drives odor and reduces cleaning performance).
